The Slice Forehand

The last player in the ATP top 100 to use exclusively a sliced forehand, was Kent Karlson from Sweden back in 1957,and probably now days its not even mentioned in tennis coaching manuals.
But its a great shot to be able to hit when approaching the net off a high ball, when you are pulled wide, and also if you have wrist problems that do not allow you to drop the racket head to play a lifted forehand.
And the set up to it is not disimilar to the drop shot or the lob, so it can be used as a well disguised stroke..
