Busy, busy, busy - Tip 1 For Tennis On Our Planet.
Yes its a busy time out here for tennis.
What with the Easter period and the amazing weather we have here, there are tennis playing folk from all over.
In the last week, and in the week to come I will have trained with players from Italy,Scotland,England,Norway,Sweden,Wales and Finland.
Soon to arrive are my tennis friends from Moscow, so if I had a map of Europe it would make a nice design with pins added.
Coaching tennis is fun, in as much as the improvement you see in your pupils, and of course the relationship you build with them. Its also “super nice” (is that a word?) to work with players who have the same love of the game as I do – of course not everyone does, and people play this game for many reasons, social, fitness and just for something to do.
But tennis on our Planet has to be treated different than on the Real Planet Tennis – taking first fitness.
Do you have the time/desire to go to a gym and train to get fit? Probably in most cases, you do not.Sooooooooooooo
How can you get that little bit fitter for your tennis?
Try this – the next time you drive to the club, park about an extra 50 metres away – then jog to the courts – now does’nt that sound a good idea – so when you arrive you have warmed up those muscles just that little bit more.
Have fun!
